Emerging Artists – Call for Entry

Starting in Echo Bay, the Tour circles through beautiful country around Highway 638, through Leeburn and Rydal Bank to Bruce Mines and back along Highway 17, a distance of about 100 kilometres. The objective of the Tour is to provide residents from Algoma, the North Shore, Sault Ste. Marie and Upper Michigan the opportunity to take a scenic drive in the country and enjoy the artistic creations of local talented artists and artisans.

The Sylvan Circle Tour is seeking applications from emerging artists in any media who have never participated in a juried art show and who are interested in sharing a booth during the 2025 Sylvan Circle Tour being held Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Interested applicants will be required to adhere to requirements of the tour and must submit an application (see below) and provide examples of their work for selection. Applications must be received no later than April 1, 2025.

Emerging Artist work will be exhibited in a designated community hall. A minimum space of approximately 100 square feet (9.3 square metres) will be shared by up to three artists at no cost to the artist.
